A dream project if there ever was one.
Through a grant from the builders of the New Tappan Zee Bridge, we were commissioned to re-imagine the public outdoor space for The Edward Hopper Art Center, in Nyack NY. Childhood home of America’s most iconic painter, the property is a hub for local artists, musicians and a gathering place for families and visitors to the charming Hudson Valley village.
Community events, such as the summer jazz festival, were the main impetus for the creation of grand open space.
See our ‘Now & Then’ section for the full transformation of the property.
